Pathways For Kids was formed in 1998 as a registered
Many of our kids have no idea what opportunities exist, and if they do, don’t believe they have a chance to achieve them. Pathways wants to change that planting a seed for growth toward these kids having a chance to realize their dreams.
To that end Pathways coordinates a pool of more than two hundred volunteer mentors (“Coaches”), and growing, from a variety of different disciplines and ethnicities. Every coach brings along a new potential affiliation and resource to the students. To date, Pathway’s Coaches in the Classroom, Career Fairs, and Coaches In The Workplace programs have served approximately 10,000
Pathways has been supported by organizations like May and Stanley Smith Trust, US Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Forty Niners Foundation, Guggenhime Foundation, The Gap Foundation and the San Francisco Foundation as well as many individual givers. We are providing opportunities for supporters to help us raise $200,000 dollars to support our programs. These funds would be utilized for program management, volunteer (“Coach”) recruitment and program supervision resulting in additional services being brought to thousands of youth.
