Are you a retired teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of underserved youth? Do you have a strong network of contacts with teachers and principals in schools located in San Francisco? If so, we have an exciting part-time opportunity for you!

At Pathways for Kids, we believe that exposing young minds to various career possibilities can transform their lives and inspire them to reach their full potential. We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Youth Career Connector.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Utilize your network of contacts with teachers and principals in San Francisco schools to identify and engage underserved youth.
• Collaborate with local businesses we review.
• Coordinate schedules and logistics between the participating businesses and the youth to ensure a seamless and impactful experience.
• Facilitate debrief sessions with the youth to reflect on their experiences and provide guidance on potential career paths.
• Maintain accurate records of participants and activities, documenting the impact of the program.
• Share our impact on social media and help with our bi-annual newsletter.

This is a part-time position offering flexible hours, ideal for retired teachers seeking to supplement their income while making a positive impact. Compensation will be a stipend paid per event. We will pay transportation and outreach expenses as appropriate.
